What More Can I Do? Be a Responsible Pet Owner!

Vaccinate, spay and/or neuter, and provide plenty of water and shelter for your pets.

It's your fault if "Mommy" keeps getting pregnant. Your one-time spay/neuter investment helps control the population, your pocketbook, and your own town in the long run, as there will be fewer abandoned cats that run the risk of being euthanized. Plus, you won't have to try to find "good" homes for five or six kittens every few months.

Open Your Heart and Property to a Colony

Friends of Felines is in desperate need of relocation sites for colonies. All colony members, as few as five cats, will be neutered/spayed and vaccinated before any move is made. An area where neighbors are not tempted to tamper with the ferals is an ideal location. Contact Ray Huff at info@felinefriendsks.com regarding "adopting" (relocating) a colony on your property.

Become a Caregiver

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) would not exist without committed caregivers. You may already be feeding cats in your yard or near your office; take the next step and learn how to humanely trap the cats, have them vaccinated, neutered and return them to their outside homes. Interested in becoming a caregiver of a colony? Volunteer at Caregiver.

Tell Your Friends

Even if you don't have a feral cat problem in your neighborhood, you probably know someone who does. Tell your friends about Friends of Felines. Stop the inhumane treatment of feral and stray cats today!
